Al-Anon’s Third Tradition states, “The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend.”
Generally, Al-Anon/Alateen meetings are closed unless otherwise noted. This means that they are limited to members and prospective members. This gives the participants greater freedom to discuss their own ideas and feelings. Some meetings are considered open which allows attendance by people who are not families and friends of alcoholics but who are interested in learning about Al-Anon Family Groups.
Following is a list of Spanish speaking meetings that are Closed meetings for members or potential members of Al-Anon only.
